File masking dashboard
Overview
The DataMasque file masking dashboard shows:
- Data Sources available for masking.
- Masking Rulesets that can be applied to data sources.
- Data Destinations where the masked files from the Data Sources will be written.
- Run Options that are applied when starting a new masking run.
Masking runs can be started directly from the file masking dashboard. Refer to Masking Runs for detailed instructions on performing a masking run.
Data Sources/Destinations
Available database Data Sources/Destinations are displayed on the respective Data Sources/Data Destinations
section of file masking dashboard page.
Refer to File Connections to create new data sources/destinations, update an existing data
source/destination or delete a data source/destination. Testing, deleting, and cloning a data source/destination
can also be done directly on the file masking dashboard. To test a data source/destination click the Test button.
To delete a data source/destination click the trashcan icon followed by the confirmation prompt.
To clone a data source/destination click on the copy icon .
Rulesets
Available rulesets are displayed on the Rulesets section of file masking dashboard page. Refer to
Rulesets to create new ruleset, update an existing ruleset or delete a
ruleset. A ruleset can be cloned directly from the dashboard by clicking the copy icon .
Run options
Run options are displayed on the Run Options section of the database masking dashboard page. Refer to File Masking Runs for detailed descriptions of the available options.
