DataMasque announced today that its data masking product for protecting cloud native datastores is available as a software component in EC2 Image Builder, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) managed service that simplifies customisation, testing, distribution, and lifecycle management of Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) and container images. Customers can now seamlessly add DataMasque to their EC2 Image Builder recipes. DataMasque’s availability in EC2 Image Builder reinforces its commitment to making it easy for customers to deploy and start using DataMasque in their AWS environments.
DataMasque works with global enterprise organisations who use AWS in governed industries, such as financial services, government, insurance and telecommunications. Key DataMasque clients including ADP, Experian, ICICI Lombard, Resolution Life, and Best Western Hotel Group benefit from the scale, security, and reliability of AWS.
Customers can find and subscribe to DataMasque directly in EC2 Image Builder console or on AWS Marketplace, a curated digital storefront that makes it easy to find, buy, deploy, and manage solutions from AWS Partners that run on AWS. Customers can also add and manage DataMasque in their EC2 Image Builder recipes to create golden images and configure the EC2 Image Builder to automatically update golden images with the latest version of DataMasque on AWS Marketplace, improving reliability and reducing maintenance efforts.

Support for EC2 Image Builder is DataMasque’s latest effort to help AWS customers. DataMasque is the only global data de-identification partner for Amazon HealthLake, a HIPAA eligible service for clinical data ingestion, storage, and analysis utilising the Healthcare Interoperability FHIR (R4) specification.
DataMasque has also been selected as a finalist for Rising Star Partner of the Year – Technology (APJ) for the second year in a row, after winning the award in 2023.
